49ers Coach Kyle Shanahan Injured in Car Crash, Training Camp Participation Limited

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan sustained several injuries in a car crash that occurred prior to the team's training camp opening. The team announced the news on Saturday, the same day their training camp officially began.

Sources indicate that Shanahan suffered a concussion, a broken nose, multiple fractured ribs, and hand injuries as a result of the accident. Due to these injuries, his participation in the initial stages of training camp will be restricted.

The first practice session on Sunday will be led by assistant head coach and offensive line coach Chris Foerster, alongside coordinators Klay Kubiak, Raheem Morris, and Brant Boyer. This arrangement will ensure team operations continue smoothly during Shanahan's recovery period.
