Angel Reese Injured, Leaves Atlanta Dream Game

The Atlanta Dream have suffered a blow as forward Angel Reese was sidelined with a left leg injury during their game against the Chicago Sky on Sunday. The incident happened in the third quarter of the contest.

Reese appeared to hurt her knee when she landed awkwardly after attempting a layup. The star player's leg buckled as she came down, leading to her falling to the floor. She was subsequently able to make her way back to the bench.

Following the evaluation, the Dream organization determined that Reese would not be able to continue playing and ruled her out for the remainder of the game.
