Bemidji Centaurs' Gopher Classic Run Ends in Quarterfinals

The Centaurs enjoyed a successful outing at the 2026 Minnesota Gopher Classic Legion Baseball Tournament, a large event featuring 70 teams from across the Midwest and Canada. They navigated through the early stages of the competition impressively, securing victories in their first six games.

This strong performance extended their overall winning streak to an impressive 13 consecutive games. Their consistent play saw them advance deep into the tournament, ultimately reaching the quarterfinal round.

However, their journey concluded with a loss to a 18U team representing Manitoba. Despite the quarterfinal exit, the Centaurs demonstrated significant resilience and skill throughout the Gopher Classic.
