Conneaut Tennis Camp Focuses on Fundamentals and Character Building

Co-founded by Dave Simpson and Doug Hedrick, the Conneaut Tennis Camp has been a fixture in the community for 21 years. Simpson, who previously served as the head tennis coach at Conneaut High School, with Hedrick as the junior high coach, highlighted that while the location of the courts has changed since the camp's inception, the fundamental aim has not.

The camp's primary objective remains to impart the essential skills of tennis to young participants. Beyond the technical aspects of the sport, Simpson emphasized that the program also places a strong focus on character education, aiming to shape well-rounded individuals.
