Dziki Warsaw Secures Osun Osunniyi for 2026-27 Season

Dziki Warsaw has officially added former Iowa State forward Osun Osunniyi to their roster for the 2026-27 campaign. The 6-foot-10 big man arrives in Poland after two seasons in Germany's top league.
The Polish basketball club Dziki Warsaw has finalized a deal to bring Osun Osunniyi aboard for the 2026-27 season. Osunniyi, who stands at 6-foot-10, brings European experience to the Polish OBL outfit.
He spent the last two seasons competing in the German BBL with MLP Academics Heidelberg. During his most recent stint in Germany, Osunniyi contributed an average of 7.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
Prior to his professional career in Germany, Osunniyi played college basketball at Iowa State, where he developed his game before transitioning to the professional ranks.
This is a solid move by Dziki Warsaw, bringing in a player with experience in a top European league. Osunniyi has the potential to be a significant contributor, but the real question is whether he can elevate his game to a new level in Poland.
