Haaland Returns to Norway with an Unconventional Souvenir After World Cup Exit

Striker Erling Haaland has returned to Norway, bringing with him a taxidermied raccoon, a peculiar souvenir from his time in the United States during the World Cup. The Manchester City star humorously remarked that the stuffed animal 'followed him home'.
Manchester City's prolific forward, Erling Haaland, has touched down back in his native Norway, and he wasn't empty-handed. Accompanying him on his return journey was an unusual item: a taxidermied raccoon.
The Norwegian international, whose national team did not qualify for the recent World Cup, was present in the United States during the tournament. Upon his arrival back home, Haaland offered a lighthearted explanation for his distinctive travel companion.
When questioned about the presence of the stuffed raccoon, the 22-year-old joked to reporters, "It followed me home," as he disembarked.
While most athletes might bring back official merchandise or personal mementos, Haaland's choice of a taxidermied raccoon as a souvenir is undeniably eccentric, adding another layer to his already larger-than-life persona.
