Jadeveon Clowney Returns to Houston Texans on One-Year Deal

Veteran pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney is set to rejoin the Houston Texans, signing a one-year agreement. The move brings the former No. 1 overall pick back to the franchise where his NFL career began.

Clowney spent last season with the Dallas Cowboys, appearing in 15 games and recording 2.0 sacks and 34 total tackles. His tenure with Dallas ended with his release in late November, making him a free agent for the remainder of the year.

The Texans, now under the guidance of DeMeco Ryans, continue to build their roster with a focus on defensive strength. Clowney's return adds an experienced presence to their defensive line as they aim to compete in the AFC South.
