Jonas Vingegaard Forced Out of Tour de France After Stage 15 Crash

The hopes of a third consecutive Tour de France title for Jonas Vingegaard have been dashed following a fall during Stage 15. The Danish rider, representing Visma–Lease a Bike, was involved in a crash that occurred approximately 20 kilometers from the finish line.

Vingegaard was among several cyclists who went down close to a kerb during the challenging stage, which culminated in a significant climb. Prior to this incident, the two-time winner was positioned in second place overall, trailing defending champion Tadej Pogacar in the general classification.
