Lakers Add Ziaire Williams to Roster

News broke Monday that the Lakers are bringing in Ziaire Williams, a player who has been in the league for five seasons. The 24-year-old guard/forward spent the most recent season with the Brooklyn Nets, where he was a regular part of the rotation.

During his 56 appearances for the Nets last year, including 13 starts, Williams put up averages of 10.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists. He also contributed defensively with 1.4 steals per game, while shooting 42.5% from the field and 34.3% from three-point range.

Williams' addition provides the Lakers with another young talent who has already demonstrated scoring and defensive capabilities at the NBA level. His prior experience navigating multiple seasons in the league will also be a valuable asset.
