Yaxel Lendeborg has continued his success against his old Michigan Wolverines teammates in the NBA Summer League, adding a win over Aday Mara and the Oklahoma City Thunder to his record.
Yaxel Lendeborg has now bested two of his former Michigan Wolverines teammates in NBA Summer League play. Following a previous victory against Morez Johnson Jr., Lendeborg and his team emerged victorious over Aday Mara and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The win marks Lendeborg's second consecutive triumph against former college peers in the exhibition circuit. This latest performance further solidifies his current 2-0 record against players he shared the court with at Michigan.
Lendeborg's early Summer League success against fellow Wolverines is a good sign, but the real test will be translating this against established NBA talent.
