Lucas Glover Maintains ISCO Championship Lead
Veteran golfer Lucas Glover continues to lead the ISCO Championship after the third round, clinging to a one-shot lead. He will head into Sunday's final day with Aaron Wise hot on his heels.
Glover's experience should serve him well, but Wise has shown strong form and will be looking to capitalize on any nerves from the leader. Expect a close finish with Wise having a slight edge due to momentum.
Lucas Glover has held onto his position at the top of the ISCO Championship leaderboard for a third consecutive day. The 46-year-old posted a 2-under-par 68 on Saturday, extending his advantage to a single stroke over challenger Aaron Wise heading into the final round.
Glover, who had carded two blemish-free rounds of 63 and 64 to start the tournament, navigated Hurstbourne Country Club with a mixed scorecard on Saturday. His round included an eagle, two birdies, and two bogeys. He acknowledged a slightly sluggish start to his round.
"Kind of a slow start, 1 over through six," Glover commented on his play through the early holes.
Maintaining a lead through three days requires composure, but Glover's slight falter in the third round opens the door for Wise to make a run. The final round promises a tense battle.
