The Northern Irishman has been paired with fellow major contender Xander Schauffele and recent Open winner Matt Fitzpatrick for the initial 36 holes of play. Meanwhile, world number one Scottie Scheffler, a pre-tournament favourite, has been placed in a different grouping.
