Nasser Hussain Advocates for Andy Flower as England's Next Test Coach

Former England captain Nasser Hussain has stated that Andy Flower would be the ideal candidate to take over as England's Test coach. Hussain also expressed his view that appointing Brendon McCullum to manage both Test and limited-overs formats was a misstep.
Nasser Hussain believes that Andy Flower possesses the qualities needed to successfully lead the England Test team. Hussain's endorsement comes as Brendon McCullum is set to conclude his tenure as the Test coach after four years at the helm.
The former skipper questioned the England and Wales Cricket Board's (ECB) decision to entrust McCullum with the coaching duties for both red-ball and white-ball cricket. Hussain feels that McCullum's coaching philosophy is more aligned with the demands of white-ball formats.
Recent disappointing performances in Test matches have made this coaching transition appear almost inevitable for the England setup.
Handing Brendon McCullum all the coaching reins was a tactical error; it’s time for a specialist approach to revive England's Test fortunes.
