Otters Fall Short in Doubleheader Before All-Star Break

The Evansville Otters ended the pre-All-Star portion of their schedule with a disappointing sweep at the hands of the Sussex Co. Miners. The Miners secured victories in both games of a scheduled doubleheader, leaving the Otters looking for answers heading into the break.

The struggles were particularly evident in the second game of the twin bill, where the Otters' offense was completely stifled. They were shut out by the Miners, with the final score reading 9-0 in favor of the visitors. This offensive drought proved too much to overcome in the series finale.

Evansville will look to regroup and return to form when they host the Windy City ThunderBolts on July 17th, marking their first game back after the All-Star festivities conclude.
