Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Halted by Weather

The NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta's EchoPark Speedway, the Quaker State 400, was brought to a halt on July 12th due to inclement weather. Lightning in the vicinity of the track prompted officials to pause the competition.

At the time of the stoppage, the race had completed either 108 or 109 laps, according to different reports, of its scheduled 260 laps. This means the field was stopped just shy of the halfway mark in the event.
