Shashank Singh Calls Assault Allegations an 'Extortion Tool'

Punjab Kings player Shashank Singh has publicly addressed a physical assault case filed against him in Bhopal, stating he believes the accusation is a tactic for financial gain and has pointed to the accuser's alleged criminal history.
Weeks after a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against him concerning an alleged physical assault on a cook in Bhopal, Punjab Kings cricketer Shashank Singh has broken his silence. Singh has vehemently denied the allegations, referring to the case as a 'tool of extortion' intended to pressure him.
Speaking on the matter, Singh further revealed that he is aware of the accuser's alleged criminal record. This information, he suggests, provides context to the current allegations and supports his assertion that the FIR is not based on genuine grievance but rather on ulterior motives.
The incident has cast a shadow over Singh's recent performances, but the cricketer appears determined to address the accusations head-on, aiming to clear his name while continuing his duties on the field.
Singh's strong assertion that the FIR is an 'extortion tool' and his revelation of the accuser's record could significantly shift public perception, suggesting a potential attempt to leverage a legal complaint for personal gain.
