Colorado Rockies pitcher Tomoyuki Sugano is set to return to action on Saturday, taking the mound against the Cincinnati Reds. Sugano had been on the injured list due to back spasms.

The right-hander was placed on the 15-day injured list earlier in June. His absence was attributed to persistent back trouble, compounded by a separate fingernail issue. This marks the first time in his Major League Baseball career that Sugano has been placed on the IL.
