Los Angeles Sparks Release General Manager Raegan Pebley

The Los Angeles Sparks have announced that they have mutually agreed to part ways with their General Manager, Raegan Pebley. Pebley had been in the role since January of this year.
The Los Angeles Sparks organization confirmed on Sunday that they have come to an agreement to end their working relationship with General Manager Raegan Pebley. The move marks a significant change in the team's front office just months after Pebley's initial appointment.
Pebley was brought on board in January 2024, tasked with leading the franchise's strategic direction and personnel decisions. Her tenure, though brief, saw her at the helm of the team's operations.
Managing Partner and Governor Eric Holoman expressed gratitude for Pebley's contributions. "We are grateful to Raegan for her leadership and commitment to the Los Angeles Sparks and women’s basketball," Holoman stated in the team's announcement.
A swift departure for a GM hired in the same calendar year raises questions about the stability and direction of the Sparks franchise.
