Norway Coach Claims Camera Cable Affected Crucial England Goal

Norway's head coach, Stale Solbakken, has asserted that an overhead camera cable directly influenced the trajectory of the ball, leading to England's crucial equalizing goal in their World Cup quarter-final match.
The incident occurred in first-half stoppage time during Norway's World Cup quarter-final encounter with England. Norway's goalkeeper, Orjan Nyland, launched a long clearance that appeared to deviate unexpectedly.
According to Solbakken, the ball's trajectory was altered after striking an overhead camera cable. This redirection of the ball subsequently fell into the path of England's Elliot Anderson, initiating the play that culminated in Jude Bellingham scoring the equalizer.
Solbakken expressed his conviction that this intervention by the camera cable was a decisive factor in the sequence of events leading to the goal, which proved to be a pivotal moment in the match.
While referees have a tough job, relying on camera cables to direct play is a new low. This calls into question the integrity of VAR technology if such external factors can so easily influence outcomes.
